R7735 系列产品是 R7732/3 的后继产品，并与至今大多数在市场上的 SOT-23-6 / DIP-8 产品完全兼容。它是一款增强型的 PWM 控制器，并拥有极佳的绿能性能，特别是在轻载或无负载状态下。它的优点是在不同的应用中 "容易设计"，且节省设计成本与外部元件。除了在特性部分所示的一般特点之外，R7735 包含各样的保护选项在内，如内部的超载保护（OLP）、过压保护（OVP），可省去外部保护电路。此外，它还有次级整流器短路保护（SRSP）和 CS 接脚开路保护。这些保护电路使得要设计可靠、安全的电源系统更为容易。R7735 具备成本低和体积小的特点，是专为NB适配器的电源供应所设计的。借着简单的电路，即可实现精确的外部过压保护 (OVP) 和过热保护 (OTP)。启动电阻也可以由泄流电阻 (bleeder resistor) 来取代，以节省功率损耗和元件数量。
