RT5716 是一款高开关频率同步降压转换器，具备 2.3μA 的静态电流。该器件采用纹波式固定导通时间（Ripple-Based Constant-On-Time，RBCOT）控制，可提升负载与线路瞬态响应，并在广泛的负载与输出电容范围内优化性能。RT5716 的输入电压范围为 1.8V 至 5.5V，适用于电池供电应用。通过在 RSEL/MODE 引脚与 GND 之间连接电阻，可提供 16 种可选择的输出电压等级。脉冲频率调制（Pulse Frequency Modulation，PFM）设计可在轻载时维持高效率；而在较高负载条件下，器件会自动切换至 PWM。该器件可提供最高 1A 的负载电流。在关断模式下，供电电流典型值为 55nA，有助于降低功耗。RT5716 提供 TWL-CSP-6B 0.69x1.04 (BSC) 与 WDFN-6L 1.5x1.5 (FC) 封装，是适用于小尺寸应用的最小封装。建议结温范围为 −40°C 至 125°C，环境温度范围为 −40°C 至 85°C。
