RT7880 是一款 USB Type-C Power Delivery (USB-C PD) 与 PWM 升降压控制器，通过特定功能的高度集成与灵活性，适用于 USB PD provider 应用。此 IC 内嵌 ARM Cortex<sup>TM</sup>-M0 MCU，可处理通信协议的各种功能、PWM 转换器的智能控制、基于固件的保护功能，以及定制化功能。此 IC 具备基于硬件的保护功能，例如电感峰值电流限制、VBUS 过压保护 (VBUS OVP)、VO 欠压保护 (VO UVP)，以及 VCONN 电流限制保护，因此这些保护功能具备更快速的响应，即使 MCU 未启动时仍可正常运行。RT7880 因此可为 USB-PD Provider 应用提供优异的 USB PD 解决方案，并具备最少外部元件与简单 PCB 布局。
