RT7880F 是将 USB-C/PD 控制器、Buck-Boost 控制器及众多功能集成于一体的 USB PD 供电端解决方案，其内含 ARM Cortex™-M0 MCU 可完成通讯协议处理、Buck-Boost 转换器的运行控制、以固件为基础的各种保护功能及各种客户定制功能的控制，同时还具有响应速度极快的以硬件为基础的电感电流峰值限制、VBUS 过压保护、输出欠压保护和 V<SUB>CONN</SUB>电流限制等功能，即使在 MCU 停止运行的情况下也能确保其安全运行，由其实现的供电设备元件数量少、空间占用小，是实施 USB PD协议的供电设备之理想选择。
