RT7880T 是供 USB-C 型接口 PD 应用使用的 Buck-Boost 控制器和 USB TCPC 控制的结合体，其中之 Buck-Boost 控制器采用峰值电流模式控制架构，能以最大达 100W 的功率提供可程控的恒压恒流模式输出。为了支持替换模式的应用，其中集成了 USB PD 协议的物理层，有 7 个 GPIO 端子可用于高速切换开关或其他客户需要的应用。它含有 Slave 模式的 I<sup>2</sup>C 接口，来自 USB-C 型端口控制器（TCPM）的TCPC 命令和客户自定义的命令可通过它进行传输。</br>它具有完善的保护功能设计，其中包括电感峰值电流限制、VBUS 过压保护、输出欠压保护、VCONN 电流限制保护。使用 RT7880T 可打造卓越的 USB PD 应用方案，元件数量少，PCB 设计也很简单。
