RT8510 是用于 WLED 的高效驱动器，被设计用于 LCD 屏的 WLED 背光源的驱动，在设计上包含了一个电流模式 Boost 架构的控制器和可驱动4串 LED、每串串联达 12 只 WLED 的电流源。RT8510 的4路电流源的电流匹配误差最大值为±2%，为获得良好的亮度一致性创造了条件。而为了保证所有电流源在面临不同的 LED 串电压误差时都能正常地工作，它的 Boost转换器会对所有 LED 串进行检测并挑选回馈电压最低的通道作为电压控制的指针，经过适当选择的电压也能同时确保最佳的转换效率。RT8510 的输入电压范围宽达 4.2V~24V，各 LED 串的电流可在 10mA~40mA 之间进行调节。其耐压达 43V 的功率开关导通内阻只有 200mΩ，电流模式控制器还提供了逐周期过电流保护功能。RT8510 还集成了 PWM 调光功能以实现精确的 LED 电流控制，用于调光的 PWM 信号频率范围可达 120Hz~30kHz，调光过程不会在 LED 或电感中造成任何电流冲击。RT8510 的工作频率在 500kHz~2MHz 之间可调，容许用户在效率和组件尺寸的平衡上做出灵活选择。RT8510 的封装是 WQFN-16L 3x3 。
