RT8800/B 是通用多相同步降压控制器，专为高密度电源供电调节而设计。这些器件实现 2 相与 3 相降压开关级，并以自动设置的交错相位运行。输出电压会依循 FB 引脚的输入电压进行调节与控制。通过此单一模拟控制，RT8800/B 可为各种高密度电源供电应用提供简单、灵活、宽范围且极具成本效益的高密度电压调节解决方案。RT8800/B 的多相架构可提供高输出电流，同时维持功率器件的低功耗，并降低输入与输出电容的应力。高等效工作频率亦可缩小元件尺寸，并降低负载瞬态时的输出电压纹波。RT8800/B 同时实现电压与电流环路，以达成良好的调节、响应与功率级热平衡。RT8800/B 亦新采用分时 DCR 电流检测技术；通过此拓扑，RT8800/B 以输出电感的 DCR 作为检测元件，以提供更精准的负载线调节与更佳的热平衡能力。此外，这些器件会监测输出电压，以提供过电流与过压保护；亦提供软启动与可编程欠压锁定，以确保电源系统的安全性。
