RT9426是自带微处理器的锂离子/锂聚合物电池电量计，可提供单节电池的电量信息，可安装于电池包内或是系统侧的主板上，实现对内置式或可更换式电池的管理。</br>RT9426使用VGCS (Voltaic Gauge with Current Sensing) 算法利用电池电压和电池开路电压之间的差异计算电池荷电状态的增加或减少，并利用电流检测数据对计算结果进行补偿，最终给出准确的电池荷电信息。</br>VGCS算法得出的SOC信息是平滑变化的，不存在时间累积误差和电流检测误差，这与库伦计数法相比是一个优势，后者会因电流测量误差和电池自放电而导致电池荷电数据的偏差。</br>RT9426通过中断告警功能提供完整的电池状态监控，它能在电池过压/欠压、充放电过程中的电池温度过高向主处理器发出报警信号。在电池高倍率充电应用中，它能采用Kelvin连接法消除电压测量中的IR压差效应，优化充电特性，确保充电安全。更多有用的报警功能包括：SOC下限报警、SOC改变、电池存在状态改变。
