RT9451 是支持 USB On-The-Go(OTG) 应用的开关模式单节锂离子/聚合物电池充电器，具有 USB D+D- 检测能力，还同时集成了一个 50mA 的低压差线性稳压器。</br>其充电电路中集成了一个 375kHz PWM 控制器和功率开关，具有输入电流检测和调节、最低输入电压调节（MIVR）、高精度电流电压调节和充电终止功能。它以三个阶段完成充电过程：预充电，定电流快充电和恒压涓流充电，充电过程中的输入电流被自动限制在主机所设定的阈值以下。充电过程的终止条件是用户可选的最低电流水平，而一旦电池电压下降到低于复充的阈值，新的充电循环就会被重启。受I<sup>2</sup>C 接口控制的具有复位控制能力的安全定时器为充电过程提供了安全备份。一旦外部电源被移除，充电器就自动进入睡眠模式或高阻模式。充电状态经 I<sup>2</sup>C 接口或 STAT 引脚向主机报告。D+D- 检测电路容许自动进行 USB 接口或墙式充电器的检测，一旦检测到墙式充电器的存在，输入电流限制就自动从 500mA 增加到 975mA。</br>在OTG模式中，PWM控制器将电池升压至5V并提供高达1.6A电流到USB输出。在负载很轻的条件下，升压操作在突发模式下以优化效率。OTG模式可以通过 I<sup>2</sup>C接口或GPIO控制使用。
